Job Description
As the SAP ABAP Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction and success of SAP S/4HANA projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding the design, development, and delivery of robust SAP technical solutions. Working closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders, you will ensure that our SAP implementations meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your leadership and collaboration skills will be key in driving successful project outcomes and fostering a culture of innovation within the SAP ABAP team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Design and develop SAP technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Drive the implementation, rollout, and migration of SAP S/4HANA projects, ensuring timely delivery.
- Enhance and optimize existing SAP systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and support during SAP support projects, ensuring smooth operations.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, driving innovation within the team.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and standards, maintaining high-quality code and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP solutions with other enterprise systems.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong track record of leading SAP projects.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its technical architecture, including core modules and functionalities.
- Proven experience in leading and managing SAP ABAP teams, with excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in working with Agile methodologies and a flexible approach to project management.
- Proficiency in SAP development tools, such as ABAP Workbench, ADT, and SAP GUI.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA database and its integration with SAP S/4HANA is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
- A passion for technology and a commitment to staying updated with the latest SAP innovations.
