Job details:
Position: Lead PPC Operations (Google Ads, Meta Ads and emerging ad platforms)
Location: Hybrid / Remote, full-time
Website: https://www.remedo.io/
Role Overview:
Remedo, a healthcare-focused digital marketing agency serving dental and medical practices in the US and UK.
Remedo is looking for a hands-on Lead PPC Operations to run our paid media function end to end. You will own day-to-day operations of the ads team, the health of 50+ client ad accounts, and the results we deliver. This is a player-coach role: you lead the team, stay close to the work, step in on accounts yourself to help solve complex problems, and are accountable for outcomes, not just activity. You will work across Google Ads and Meta Ads today and help us build capability on newer channels such as Apple Search Ads and LLM / AI-assistant ads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the team: coach and review the ads team, set priorities and standards, and own hiring, onboarding and performance reviews.
- Own daily operations: monitor budget pacing, spend anomalies, disapprovals, tracking breaks and lead quality across all accounts, with a clear daily and weekly check rhythm and SOPs.
- Own results: be accountable for account performance against client goals (cost per lead, lead quality, ROAS, booked appointments); diagnose underperformance independently and drive the fix.
- Step up with clients: lead the ads discussion in strategy and review calls, explain results and decisions clearly, and own ads escalations.
- Work across teams: collaborate closely with account management, SEO, content, web and design on landing pages, tracking, handovers and client goals.
- Platforms and measurement: strategy and optimization in Google Ads and Meta Ads; sound tracking with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel and Conversions API.
- Emerging channels and AI: pilot Apple Search Ads and LLM ad formats, and use AI and automation to make the team faster and more accurate.
- Healthcare compliance: follow ad policies and data-privacy requirements for dental and medical clients in the US and UK.
Requirements:
- 4 to 6 years in paid media or performance marketing, ideally in an agency managing multiple client accounts (slightly less is fine for a fast learner with strong results).
- Experience leading or mentoring a team (2 to 3+ people), or clear readiness to step up.
- Strong hands-on command of Google Ads and Meta Ads, including lead generation, with a record of improving cost per lead and lead quality.
- Solid measurement skills: GA4, Google Tag Manager, Pixel / Conversions API, conversion tracking.
- Runs daily operations independently: spots problems early, sets priorities, closes issues. Hands-on by nature and happy to work directly in accounts and cover for teammates.
- Confident leading client conversations, presenting results and handling escalations; collaborates smoothly with other teams.
Good to have: healthcare or local-service clients; Apple, Microsoft, LinkedIn or TikTok Ads and early LLM ads exposure; SOPs, dashboards (Looker Studio) or automation (scripts, n8n); Google and Meta certifications; US / UK time-zone experience.
What success looks like:
30 days: know every account and its goals, audit tracking and account health, and agree an operating rhythm with the VP of Operations.
60 days: daily health checks running reliably, reporting standardised, a clear owner and plan for every account, and the top 3 underperforming accounts on a recovery plan.
90 days: consistent team output, no unnoticed budget or tracking issues, and ads escalations handled without leadership involvement.
