Role Description The Java Developer + Oracle BRM role is a full-time remote position responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that integrate with Oracle Billing and Revenue Management. Day-to-day tasks include writing and reviewing Java code, building and supporting microservices, and using the Spring Framework to implement robust, secure, and scalable applications. The role involves collaborating with architects, business analysts, and other developers to translate requirements into technical designs, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure high-quality releases. The developer will also participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and support deployment activities in cloud and on-premise environments.
Qualifications
- Experience of 7+ years is required in Oracle BRM.
- Strong Java API & Microservices experience along with Oracle BRM operations & production support.
- Candidates should possess strong Software Development and Programming skills, with a focus on object-oriented design and clean coding practices.
- Candidates should possess experience with Java Microservices and the Spring Framework for building scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Microservices architectures, including designing, implementing, and integrating distributed services.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) or similar billing platforms.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, relational databases (e.g., Oracle), and SQL is beneficial.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or OCI) and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
