Job details:
Company Description Revzio is building autonomous finance operations through AI agents that run the entire finance back office, from accounts payable and receivable to billing and vendor lifecycle management. The product focuses on replacing manual reconciliation, approvals, and follow-ups with end-to-end agentic workflows that act directly on real financial data. Starting with vendor onboarding and invoice approval as an entry point, the long-term goal is to orchestrate every dollar paid and collected with high accuracy and reliability. The team designs agentic systems where systems perform real-money actions, emphasizing financial correctness, safety, and deep integrations with accounting platforms, payment gateways, and banking rails. Revzio uses a modern stack (Next.js, FastAPI, Supabase) and offers early engineers significant ownership over architecture and system design.
Role Description As a Lead Engineer at Revzio, you will architect, build, and scale agentic systems that automate complex finance workflows end to end. You will design and implement multi-LLM orchestration pipelines, ensure financial correctness across accounts payable and receivable flows, and embed strict safety controls around real-money actions. You will collaborate closely with product and operations teams to translate finance requirements into robust technical designs, lead code reviews, mentor engineers, and establish engineering best practices. You will also own integrations with accounting systems, payment gateways, and banking rails, shaping the platform’s reliability and performance. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with a mix of in-office collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
- Strong backend engineering skills, including experience with Python-based web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI) and building scalable APIs and services.
- Proficiency with modern frontend and full-stack development, ideally including Next.js and React, and comfort working across the product surface.
- Background in designing distributed systems, asynchronous task architectures, and high-availability services with robust monitoring and observability.
- Exposure to LLMs and agentic workflows (e.g., multi-model orchestration across providers such as Claude, Gemini, and OpenAI) or strong interest in learning them.
- Understanding of financial systems or transactional domains, with emphasis on correctness, reconciliation, and data integrity (experience in fintech or SaaS is a plus).
- Commitment to security and safety best practices, including data protection, PII handling, multi-tenant isolation, and authorization controls on sensitive actions.
- Demonstrated leadership in an engineering team: mentoring, code review, architectural decision-making, and driving high-quality engineering standards.
