Role Description The Lead – Maintenance is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for overseeing maintenance activities across dairy processing facilities and related equipment. This role involves planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules, monitoring equipment performance, and ensuring timely repairs to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards. The Lead – Maintenance will supervise maintenance technicians, coordinate with production teams, and maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, spare parts, and service records. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing equipment issues, implementing corrective actions, optimizing maintenance processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives for reliability and efficiency. The role also includes ensuring compliance with relevant safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines and collaborating with external vendors or service providers when required.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance.
- Candidates should possess solid abilities in Maintenance & Repair and general Maintenance of industrial machinery.
- Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in maintenance leadership roles within manufacturing, food processing, or dairy industries.
- Knowledge of safety standards, GMP, and basic regulatory requirements for food-grade facilities.
- Ability to lead a maintenance team, manage schedules, and coordinate cross-functional activities.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with proficiency in using maintenance tools and software.
