Role Description The Lab Chemist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Muzaffarnagar. The Lab Chemist will perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, prepare chemical solutions, and handle laboratory equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety standards. Responsibilities include monitoring product quality, conducting analyses on raw materials and finished goods, documenting test results, and assisting with calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments. The role involves supporting quality control activities, participating in investigations of deviations, and collaborating with production and quality teams to ensure consistent product performance. The Lab Chemist will also contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills for chemical testing, data interpretation, and troubleshooting.
- Candidates should possess laboratory skills related to sample preparation, safe chemical handling, and execution of standard test methods.
- Candidates should possess the ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including basic instruments and specialized analytical tools.
- Candidates should possess experience in quality control activities, including inspection, documentation, and adherence to specifications.
- Candidates should possess skills in calibration of laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety practices, chemical hygiene, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Attention to detail, clear record-keeping, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in a chemical manufacturing laboratory or industrial lab environment is an advantage.
