Treasury Manager – Front Office

Bajaj Auto Credit Limited is looking for a Treasury Manager – Front Office to strengthen its Treasury function. The role will be responsible for driving day-to-day funds mobilisation through banks and debt markets, managing banking relationships, and executing borrowing transactions at optimal cost.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in treasury front office, corporate banking relationship management, or debt capital markets, with proven capability in managing lenders, negotiating funding terms, and executing borrowing transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Banking Relationship Management
- Manage day-to-day relationships with lending banks, relationship managers, and treasury desks.
- Act as the primary contact for bank limit reviews, documentation, and covenant-related queries.
- Track bank-wise limit utilisation, renewal timelines, and covenant compliance.
- Identify opportunities to build and diversify the lender base.
Funds Raising & Transaction Execution
- Source competitive borrowing proposals from banks for working capital and term funding requirements.
- Execute borrowing transactions including bank term loans, CC/OD facilities, NCDs, and CPs within approved mandates.
- Negotiate pricing, tenor, and commercial terms in alignment with treasury strategy.
- Coordinate with internal teams for documentation, disbursement, and settlement.
- Monitor upcoming maturities and support timely refinancing/rollover planning.
Market Intelligence & Treasury Insights
- Track interest rate movements, bank pricing trends, and peer borrowing costs.
- Provide updates on funding market conditions and lender relationships.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and funding diversification.
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure borrowing transactions are executed as per defined SOPs with accurate documentation.
- Support Treasury MIS on borrowings, cost of borrowing, and limit utilisation.
- Assist with internal/statutory audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable RBI/FEMA guidelines.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of treasury products including term loans, CC/OD facilities, NCDs, and CPs.
- Established relationships with banking partners and treasury desks.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple banking relationships and funding activities.
- Good understanding of market movements and financial analysis.
Qualification & Experience
- MBA (Finance), CA, or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in:
- Treasury Front Office
- Corporate Banking Relationship Management
- Debt Capital Markets
- Fund Raising & Borrowing Transactions
