L3 Security Engineer
We are looking for an experienced L3 Security Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on cybersecurity and network security experience, with strong expertise in deep technical troubleshooting, security engineering, hardening, architecture support and complex incident resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Provide L3 engineering and deep troubleshooting support for complex security infrastructure and incidents.
- Design, review, implement and harden enterprise security solutions, configurations and security policies.
- Support security architecture reviews, network/security design and technology integration.
- Perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex production issues across security platforms.
- Support Disaster Recovery (DR), resiliency testing, upgrades, migrations and major security changes.
- Review existing security policies/rules and recommend improvements based on security, operational and governance requirements.
- Provide technical governance inputs, risk recommendations and security best practices to infrastructure and application teams.
- Manage complex incidents, problems and changes in accordance with ITSM processes.
Technical Expertise:
- Firewalls: Checkpoint and/or Palo Alto
- Proxy / Secure Web Gateway: Zscaler
- Web Application Firewall: F5 WAF
- Network Security: IPS/IDS and DDoS protection
- Security Network Architecture & Design
- Endpoint Security: Trellix / McAfee, EDR and DLP
- Identity & Access Security: MFA, VPN and token-based authentication solutions
- ITSM / Incident, Problem and Change Management
