This role is for someone who enjoys turning ideas into physical products. Youโll work on mechanical design, CAD modelling, prototyping, testing, and preparing designs for manufacturing, while working closely with our hardware and firmware teams.

โข Develop mechanical concepts and detailed 3D designs for products and electronic enclosures.
โข Create manufacturing-ready drawings with appropriate tolerances and GD&T.
โข Design for processes such as ๐ฏ๐ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด, ๐๐ก๐ ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด, ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐น, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ถ๐ป๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐บ๐ผ๐น๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด.
โข Build and test prototypes, identify design issues, and improve them through iterations.
โข Work with hardware engineers on ๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ณ๐ถ๐, ๐บ๐ผ๐๐ป๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด, ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ป๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐, ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด, ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ฝ๐น๐ฎ๐๐.
โข Prepare BOMs and basic design documentation.
โข Work with vendors to take designs from drawings to physical parts.
๐ช๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐ช๐ฒโ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ผ๐ฟ
โข 1+ year of experience in ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป.
โข Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Production, or a related field.
โข Good hands-on experience with ๐ฆ๐ผ๐น๐ถ๐ฑ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ๐, ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฌ, ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ผ, ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฎ ๐๐ถ๐บ๐ถ๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐น.
โข Understanding of ๐๐&๐ง, ๐ณ๐ถ๐๐, ๐๐ผ๐น๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฒ๐ป๐ด๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐.
โข Practical experience with ๐ฏ๐ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐๐ฝ๐ถ๐ป๐ด.
โข Basic understanding of plastics, sheet metal, and machined components.
โข A portfolio showing something you have personally designed and taken to a physical prototype or part.
