Role Description The Senior Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for leading the design and development of industrial cleaning machines and automated washing systems. This role involves translating client requirements into robust mechanical and product designs, preparing detailed CAD models and drawings, and collaborating with production, electrical, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and performance. The Senior Design Engineer will review and optimize existing designs, conduct design calculations and feasibility studies, and support prototype development, testing, and design validation. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, preparing technical documentation and BOMs, addressing design-related issues during installation and commissioning, and contributing to continuous improvement of product reliability, safety, and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Exposure to SPM, Pneumaic, Linear movement, Automation ....etc
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using SolidWorks software.
- Create detailed drawings, models, and documentation for production purposes.
