Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Lawyer role based in India. The Junior Lawyer will support the legal team with drafting, reviewing, and revising real estate contracts, agreements, and related documentation. Daily responsibilities include conducting legal research on property law and regulations, assisting in due diligence for transactions, and preparing summaries or briefs for senior legal staff. The role also involves coordinating with internal stakeholders and external parties, helping to ensure compliance with local laws and company policies, and maintaining accurate legal records and files.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in property law, contract law, and civil law relevant to real estate in India.
- Ability to draft, review, and edit legal documents, including agreements, contracts, and notices.
- Competence in legal research, case law analysis, and interpreting statutes and regulations.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills for interacting with clients, external counsel, and authorities.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited institution; enrollment with the Bar Council of India preferred.
- Proficiency with common office and legal research software tools.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical legal practice.
