Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Mumbai. The Junior Architect will support project teams in developing design concepts, preparing drawings and 3D models, and assisting in the production of detailed construction documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with senior architects and consultants, contributing to design presentations, and helping ensure that design intent aligns with project requirements and timelines. The role may also involve basic project coordination tasks, participation in site visits, and assistance with design revisions based on client and regulatory feedback.
Qualifications
- Ability to apply Architecture and Architectural Design principles to develop concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings.
- Understanding of Software Development and Integration as they relate to design tools, BIM workflows, or digital project collaboration.
- Foundational Project Management skills, including organization, time management, and coordination with team members and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite or similar) and strong technical drawing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent accredited qualification.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in Mumbai is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback constructively, and grow within a professional architectural practice.
