Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role located in Kozhikode. The Junior Architect will support the senior design team in developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings, and producing detailed plans and presentations. Daily responsibilities include assisting with site analysis, creating 2D and 3D design documentation, coordinating revisions based on feedback, and helping ensure that projects meet functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements. The role also involves collaborating with consultants, tracking basic project milestones, and contributing to clear communication with clients and project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and plans.
- Basic understanding of Project Management principles, including organizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and supporting project coordination.
- Familiarity with Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to architectural workflows (e.g., use of design software, interoperability between tools).
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and comfort with digital visualization and presentation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent professional qualification; eligibility or intent to pursue registration is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment.
- Effective communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is beneficial.
- Understanding of building codes, basic construction practices, and sustainable design principles is a plus.
