Company Description ENVID Atelier (Environmental Design Atelier) is a collaborative design studio based in Kochi, bringing together architects, designers, and allied professionals who focus on contextually appropriate solutions. Role Description This full-time, on-site Junior Architect role is based in Kochi and involves supporting the design team across all stages of architectural projects. Daily responsibilities include assisting in concept development, preparing drawings and 3D models, and contributing to design presentations. The Junior Architect will coordinate with senior team members on design details, documentation, and integration of environmental and contextual considerations into projects. The role also includes participation in client meetings, site visits, and basic project coordination tasks, ensuring that design intent is maintained from concept through execution.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to contribute to concepts, layouts, and detailing.
- Ability to support Project Management activities, including organizing documentation, tracking tasks, and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to design tools or digital workflows is an advantage.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification; eligibility for or pursuit of professional licensure is a plus.
- Strong visual, technical, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret environmental and contextual parameters.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and respond constructively to feedback.
- Interest in environmentally responsive design, sustainable practices, and user-centric solutions.
