Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Kochi. The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing schematic and detailed drawings, and coordinating design solutions for architecture, interior, and landscape projects. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients, understanding project requirements, producing design documentation, and collaborating with consultants and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained. The role also involves participating in site visits, monitoring project progress, and supporting project management activities such as schedules, budgets, and quality standards. The Architect will work closely with the studio leadership to refine designs, integrate feedback, and uphold the firm’s commitment to conscious, qualitative solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to develop concepts and translate them into detailed drawings and documentation.
- Experience with Integration of design elements across architecture, interior, and landscape to ensure cohesive and functional solutions.
- Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, and monitoring of timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Proficiency in relevant architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino) and familiarity with design visualization tools.
- Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices, preferably with experience in Kochi or similar contexts.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary studio environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience in a design studio or architectural firm; exposure to boutique or design-focused practices is an advantage.
