Role Description The Junior Architect will support the design and execution of commercial and residential projects as part of a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in architectural design and drafting, preparing layouts and 3D visualizations, and coordinating design details with senior architects and project managers. The role involves participating in site visits, documenting project progress, and helping to ensure continuity between design drawings and construction outcomes. The Junior Architect will also collaborate with consultants and vendors, contribute to design presentations, and assist with basic project documentation and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into detailed drawings and plans.
- Understanding of Project Management principles, including basic scheduling, coordination, and documentation in an EPC environment.
- Familiarity with Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to design tools, BIM platforms, or digital workflows.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar CAD/BIM tools) and MS Office for documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent architectural qualification from a recognized institution.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow structured processes, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced project environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with multidisciplinary teams and vendors.
- Knowledge of local building regulations, materials, and construction practices in India is an advantage.
