Role
We are looking for an ambitious, detail-driven Junior Architect / Interior Designer to join our core studio team. In this role, you will work directly alongside principal designers from initial concept modelling through technical documentation and on-site execution.
Responsibilties
- Concept & 3D Modeling: Develop design iterations, 3D spatial models, and presentation-ready renders for client review.
- Working Drawings (GFC Sets): Draft clear, millimeter-accurate 2D drawings including electrical, plumbing, joinery/millwork details, and flooring layouts.
- Material & Vendor Research: Source material samples, research finishes/hardware, and assist in compiling specifications and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Site Visits & Quality Checks: Assist senior designers during on-site inspections to verify dimensions, inspect contractor execution against GFC drawings, and document site progress.
- Studio Organisation: Keep digital drawing revisions, material libraries, and project documentation structured and up to date.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: B.Arch or B.Des / Diploma in Interior Design.
- Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in an architectural or interior design studio (strong internships considered if working drawing proficiency is evident).
- Core Software Proficiency:
– 2D Drafting: CAD (clean layering, dimensioning, and detail drafting).
– 3D & Visualization: Rhino 3D paired with V-Ray, D5 or Corona.
– Presentation: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Technical Fundamentals: Sound understanding of interior joinery, material finishes, and basic structural clearances.
- Strong Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with consultants, vendors, and contractors in English and [Hindi / Telugu].
- Experience with parametric workflows (Rhino + Grasshopper) is a plus.
- Ability to learn and/or integrate AI workflow is a plus.
- Prior experience handling residential turnkey or interior fit-out projects.
