Position: Jr. Accounts Executive

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Jr. Accounts Executive to support our Finance & Accounts team. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, accounts payable and receivable, vendor follow-ups, and statutory-related coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting and finance-related activities.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and ensure timely processing of vendor invoices.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and maintain customer outstanding records.
- Follow up with vendors regarding payments, invoices, outstanding balances, and account-related queries.
- Coordinate with customers for payment follow-ups and outstanding collections.
- Maintain proper records of invoices, payments, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Assist in bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Coordinate with internal departments for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Follow up and coordinate for statutory compliance-related requirements.
- Assist senior accounts team members in monthly closing and reporting activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely updating of accounting records.
- Support audits and provide required documents whenever needed.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in Accounts/Finance.
- Good understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Experience in vendor payment follow-ups and customer payment collection.
- Basic knowledge of statutory compliance and accounting procedures.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP.
- Strong attention to detail and good follow-up skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Commerce graduate (B.Com/M.Com) preferred.
