Junior Accountant

Position: Junior Accountant
Key Responsibilities
* Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and follow up on outstanding customer payments.
* Handle Accounts Payable (AP), including vendor invoice verification and payment processing.
* Coordinate with clients for payment collections and regular follow-ups.
* Prepare and reconcile customer and vendor statements.
* Record daily accounting transactions accurately in the accounting system.
* Process invoices, credit notes, and payment entries.
* Assist with bank reconciliation and cash-flow monitoring.
* Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.
* Coordinate with internal teams regarding billing and payment-related queries.
* Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
* Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. B.Com/M.Com preferred.
* 0–2 years of accounting experience. Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply.
* Good understanding of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
* Basic knowledge of GST and TDS is an added advantage.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Odoo, Tally, or similar ERP.
* Good communication and follow-up skills.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
