We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accounting records, invoices, receipts and payment entries
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting transactions
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Prepare and maintain bank, vendor and customer reconciliations
- Create invoices, expenses and supporting documents
- Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory compliance requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for accounting-related queries
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Working knowledge of Tally/accounting software and MS Excel
- Familiarity with GST and TDS
- Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly
