Role Description The Jr TDL Developer will work full time on-site in Madurai, collaborating with senior developers and consultants to design, develop, and maintain Tally Definition Language (TDL) customizations. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing client requirements, creating and modifying TDL code, testing custom solutions, and assisting in deployment and documentation. The role involves troubleshooting issues, providing technical support to internal teams, and ensuring that Tally customizations align with business workflows and statutory requirements. The Jr TDL Developer will also participate in code reviews, learn best practices for Tally customization, and contribute to continuous improvement of existing solutions. This role is suited for individuals interested in financial software, enterprise applications, and hands-on collaboration with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in programming concepts, preferably with experience in languages such as C, C++, or other structured programming languages.
- Basic understanding of Tally.ERP9 or TallyPrime, with an interest in learning and working with Tally Definition Language (TDL).
- Knowledge of accounting or business processes, and willingness to understand client workflows and statutory requirements.
- Ability to analyze requirements, write clear technical documentation, and support testing and debugging of software solutions.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.
- Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; entry-level or internship experience in software development is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, and readiness to learn from senior team members and client engagements.
