Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Business Development teams to identify and qualify new client leads in the renewable energy sector.
- Collect and validate technical requirements from customers regarding control and monitoring solutions.
- Analyze customer inquiries and convert them into customized technical solutions using existing company offerings such as SCADA, PPC, IoT, and PLC.
- Coordinate internally with technical and engineering teams to create accurate cost estimations and solution configurations.
- Ensure the BoM (Bill of Materials) is technically correct and commercially aligned with company pricing policies.
- Deliver comprehensive technical proposals to the Sales team with technical justifications, assumptions, drawings, and configurations.
- Participate in customer meetings and discussions to provide technical support, address queries, and gather feedback.
- If negotiation is initiated by the customer, support the Sales team by revising estimations or modifying solution components without compromising quality.
- Do not engage in commercial negotiations directly with customers; provide support through revised estimations routed via the Sales team.
- Once technical approval is obtained from the client, assist in transitioning the project to the Execution or Project Management team along with all relevant documentation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity throughout the pre-sales process.
- Track customer preferences, recurring queries, and feedback to improve future solutions and pre-sales documentation.
Educational & Technical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), or Renewable Energy.
- Knowledge of Solar PV systems is essential; familiarity with wind and hybrid energy systems is beneficial.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD Electrical for schematic and layout preparation is expected.
- Strong understanding of control and automation solutions and their integration with energy monitoring systems is required.

Location: Chennai / Delhi
Core Technical Skills
- Expertise in Solar PV project components, layouts, and generation logic.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, PPC architecture, and energy management control systems.
- Understanding of PLC logic and programming, with practical knowledge of industrial automation.
- Knowledge of IoT integration for sensor-based monitoring, Modbus/TCP protocols, and telemetry.
- Ability to prepare Bills of Materials (BoM) and accurately estimate project costs based on company norms.
- Proficiency in electrical schematic drafting and understanding of protection schemes and component ratings.
- Hands-on experience with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) for documentation, reporting, and analysis.
Tools & Software
- AutoCAD Electrical / BricsCAD for technical drawings and schematic preparation.
- MS Excel (Advanced) for estimation, costing, and analysis reports.
- Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for client proposals and presentations.
- CRM and email tools for customer communication.
- Bitrix / MS Teams for internal coordination and task tracking.
Soft Skills & Competencies
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and honesty in handling client requirements and internal processes.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi is an added advantage.
- Self-driven, with a positive attitude and confidence to manage tasks independently.
- Strong customer rapport-building skills and professional telephone etiquette.
- Ability to understand and align with customer motives and expectations.
- Flexible mindset with a well-balanced approach to decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate across departments and maintain clear communication.
- Well-organized, with the ability to handle multiple leads and estimation cycles in parallel.
