Job Purpose
The Jr. Catalogue Executive will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate product information across e-commerce marketplaces, D2C platforms, and other digital channels. The role involves coordinating with merchandising, design, photography, warehouse, and e-commerce teams to ensure products are correctly catalogued, updated, and available online as per brand standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Catalogue Management
- Create and maintain product listings across the company's website, marketplaces, and other digital platforms.
- Upload and update product information including product names, descriptions, specifications, sizes, colours, prices, SKUs, and other attributes.
- Ensure product information is accurate, complete, and consistent across all platforms.
- Maintain SKU-level catalogue records and ensure proper mapping of products and variants.
- Update catalogue information based on product launches, price changes, stock availability, and product amendments.
2. Product Content Management
- Coordinate with the Design/Content team to ensure availability of product images, banners, product descriptions, and other digital assets.
- Ensure product images meet required specifications, naming conventions, and quality standards.
- Review product content for spelling, formatting, accuracy, and consistency.
- Ensure product descriptions accurately reflect product features, fabric, fit, colour, care instructions, and other relevant details.
3. E-commerce Platform & Marketplace Coordination
- Upload and manage catalogue data on platforms such as the brand website, Myntra, Ajio, Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa Fashion, and other relevant marketplaces, as applicable.
- Coordinate with marketplace teams for product listing, corrections, approvals, and content-related queries.
- Track listing status and resolve rejected, incomplete, or inactive listings.
- Ensure products are live within the required timelines.
4. Catalogue Quality & Audits
- Conduct regular audits of live product listings to identify missing or incorrect information.
- Check product titles, descriptions, images, pricing, sizes, colours, attributes, and categorisation.
- Identify duplicate, inactive, incorrect, or incomplete listings and coordinate for corrective action.
- Ensure catalogue follows platform guidelines and internal brand standards.
5. Product Launch Support
- Coordinate with Merchandising, E-commerce, Warehouse, and Marketing teams for new product launches.
- Ensure catalogue content is ready before products go live.
- Maintain launch trackers and follow up on pending product information, images, and approvals.
- Support timely activation of new SKUs across relevant digital channels.
6. MIS & Reporting
- Maintain catalogue trackers and SKU-level databases.
- Prepare regular reports on listing status, pending uploads, rejected listings, content corrections, and product activation.
- Track catalogue-related issues and follow up with relevant teams for closure.
- Maintain accurate records of catalogue changes and updates.
7. Cross-functional Coordination
- Work closely with Merchandising, E-commerce, Design, Photography, Warehouse, Marketing, and IT teams.
- Coordinate with internal teams to collect missing product information and digital assets.
- Escalate catalogue issues that may impact product visibility, availability, or sales.
- Ensure timely closure of catalogue-related tasks and queries.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Good understanding of e-commerce and online product cataloguing.
- Basic understanding of fashion, apparel, textiles, fabrics, and product attributes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good follow-up and coordination skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfortable working with large volumes of SKU/product data.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce marketplaces and CMS platforms is preferred.
- Ability to identify errors and ensure timely correction.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Candidates with a degree/diploma in Fashion, Textile, Apparel, Retail Management, E-commerce, or a related field will be preferred.
Experience
0–2 years of experience in catalogue management, e-commerce operations, fashion/apparel, marketplace management, or a similar role.
Freshers with strong Excel skills and an interest in fashion/e-commerce may also be considered.

- The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable working with product data and multiple SKUs.
