Role Description The Java Full Stack Teacher/Mentor will be responsible for delivering classroom-based training and mentoring learners in core Java, advanced Java, and full stack development technologies. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru includes planning and conducting interactive lectures, coding sessions, and hands-on labs that align with the academy’s curriculum. The teacher/mentor will guide learners through concepts such as object-oriented programming, frameworks, REST APIs, front-end technologies, build tools, and deployment practices. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, evaluating assignments, providing constructive feedback, addressing learner queries, and supporting learners in building project portfolios. The role also involves collaborating with the academic team to update course content, participate in assessments, and contribute to continuous improvement of teaching methods.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Teaching and Training, with experience leading technical sessions or mentoring learners.
- Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning and Education skills, including the ability to design structured, outcomes-focused curricula.
- Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts in simple terms.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Java frameworks (e.g., Spring/Spring Boot), relational databases, and front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is highly beneficial.
- Experience with full stack development tools and practices (version control, build tools, REST APIs, deployment) and real-world project implementation is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in Java full stack development.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic staff, support diverse learner backgrounds, and maintain an inclusive, non-discriminatory classroom environment.
