Role Description This full-time Java Developer (Fintech) role is a hybrid position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain fintech applications using Java and the Spring Framework, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing microservices-based architectures, writing clean and tested code, troubleshooting and optimizing system performance, and integrating third-party APIs and financial services. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, QA, and DevOps to deliver new features, support production environments, and improve development processes. The developer is expected to follow best practices in software development, maintain documentation, and stay updated on fintech and Java ecosystem advancements.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in core Java and Programming fundamentals, including object-oriented design and data structures.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development for distributed systems, with focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Practical expertise with the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) for backend application development.
- Experience designing and implementing Microservices architectures, including RESTful services and API integrations.
- Knowledge of fintech domain concepts such as payments, banking, trading, or risk management is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, version control (e.g., Git), and build tools (e.g., Maven or Gradle).
- Ability to write unit and integration tests, and work with CI/CD pipelines in a collaborative, agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in hybrid teams and adapt to changing priorities.
