Job Title: Java - BlueJ Specialist
Location : Pune (3 days office required )
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Instruction & Curriculum Delivery: Design and deliver engaging lesson plans covering core Java concepts (variables, control flow, methods, arrays) using BlueJ as the primary IDE.
- OOP Visualization: Teach Object-Oriented Programming principles—including Abstraction, Encapsulation, Inheritance, and Polymorphism—utilizing BlueJ's object bench and diagram visualizer.
- Hands-on Coding & Projects: Guide learners through practical code walkthroughs, hands-on labs, debugging sessions, and beginner software projects.
- Assessment & Mentorship: Evaluate coding assignments, provide constructive code reviews, and offer targeted guidance to students encountering difficulties with foundational programming logic.
- IDE Bridge Transition: Prepare students to transition from BlueJ to industry-standard Java IDEs (e.g., IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, or VS Code) as they advance.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Education, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Java Expertise: Solid understanding of Core Java (JDK 8+) and fundamental data structures.
- BlueJ Proficiency: Hands-on experience navigating the BlueJ environment, including object creation on the bench, interactive method invocation, unit testing with JUnit inside BlueJ, and class diagram construction.
- OOP Mastery: Strong ability to explain Object-Oriented Design concepts in simple, intuitive terms.
