DESCRIPTION
The Catalog Associate is an entry-level role within the organization, responsible for supporting critical operational tasks for an eCommerce client. The role involves working on one or more key activities, including managing tickets, populating and procuring content for product catalogs, coordinating with vendors, manufacturers, and vendor managers to source required information, identifying and correcting errors or complaints, following up on open tickets, and consistently meeting challenging delivery SLAs/KPIs.
The individual is expected to carry out these responsibilities with attention to detail, sound judgment, and a clear understanding of process SOPs or instructions provided by the Process Lead/Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Handle day-to-day assigned ticket inflows and ensure the given SLAs/Goals are met per quality standards.
· Interacting and coordinating with vendors/Vendor Manager to ensure catalog request, product details and other product-related informations are accurately captured, updated and reflected in the catalog.
· Drive Kaizen initiatives and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and overall work quality.
· Proactively flag any potential risk of SLA or quality to the Manager or Lead in a timely manner to ensure appropriate corrective action can be taken.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· College degree or above, with work experience in Japanese is preferred
· 2–3 years of experience in data-driven business operations, preferably in Business Process Outsourcing or similar operations environments, where associates are required to handle large volumes of data as part of their daily tasks and perform tasks accurately based on defined instructions and SOPs.
· Excellent MS Excel skills– ability to mine large data for specific detail according to instructions provided
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Excellent written, reading and oral skills in Japanese, Janpanese N1/N2/N3 credential is required
· Good written and reading skills in English.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills – ability to communicate with internal/external stakeholders clearly and concisely
· Strong problem mangement skill, including problem identification, problem analysis and problem solving
· Proficient in Excel
· Enable work during weekends and holidays
· N3 or N2 certification in Japanese language
