๐ Location: Bangalore (Hybrid โ 2 to 3 days onsite)

๐ Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Transition Lead to provide leadership during a critical transition period within a banking technology organization. The successful candidate will ensure operational stability, oversee ongoing initiatives, and work closely with business and technology stakeholders to maintain continuity.
This role is primarily focused on transition leadership, governance, and program oversight rather than hands-on technical delivery.
๐ ๏ธ Key Responsibilities

Lead IT operations during the transition period and ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

Drive governance, program tracking, and executive reporting.
โ
Coordinate with business, technology, and vendor teams to manage critical deliverables.
โ
Oversee budgets, contracts, and vendor performance.
โ
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
โ
Manage risks, dependencies, and operational issues while maintaining business continuity.
โ
Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide leadership with minimal ramp-up time.
๐ฏ Required Experience
โ๏ธ 12โ15+ years of IT leadership and program management experience.
โ๏ธ Demonstrated experience leading large-scale IT transitions or transformation initiatives.
โ๏ธ Strong background in IT governance, operations, and service management.
โ๏ธ Experience managing budgets, commercial engagements, and vendor relationships.
โ๏ธ Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.
โ๏ธ Strong Core Banking domain experience is mandatory.
โ๏ธ Experience in Banking or Financial Services is essential.
โ ๏ธ Note: This is a fixed-term, 3-month engagement based in Bangalore with a hybrid working model. Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period are preferred.
