About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional with expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems, specializing in patch management and automation. This role is critical to ensuring system security, stability, and efficiency through proactive patching and automated workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers across production and development environments.
- Perform patch management for operating systems and applications, ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline system administration tasks.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply fixes promptly.
- Document processes, configurations, and automation workflows for future reference.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux distributions (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu).
- Hands-on experience with patching tools (WSUS, SCCM, Ansible, or similar).
- Proficiency in automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Understanding of IT security best practices and compliance standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
- CompTIA Linux+
- CompTIA Security+
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
