Role Description The International Travel Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. The consultant will advise clients on international travel options, including flights, accommodations, tours, and transportation, while tailoring itineraries to individual needs and budgets. Daily responsibilities include handling inquiries, preparing quotations, confirming reservations, issuing tickets and vouchers, and managing changes or cancellations with accuracy. The role involves coordinating with airlines, hotels, and other suppliers, ensuring compliance with travel regulations and visa requirements, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of destinations, fares, and promotions. The consultant will also provide proactive customer service before, during, and after travel, resolving issues promptly and maintaining detailed records in reservation and CRM systems.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Travel Consulting and international itinerary planning.
- Candidates should possess skills in Travel Management, including coordination of multi-leg trips and vendor liaison.
- Candidates should possess skills in Travel Arrangements, such as booking flights, hotels, tours, and ground transportation.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, including client communication, problem-solving, and follow-up.
- Candidates should possess Reservations-related skills, including use of booking platforms/GDS and accurate documentation.
- Relevant experience in a travel agency, tour operator, or hospitality company is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of international destinations, visa processes, and airline fare rules is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Proficiency in standard office software and reservation/CRM tools, with attention to detail and time management.
- Diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
