Job Title:
Intern - Performance Marketing
Internship Duration: 3-6 months with a clear path to a full-time offer based on performance
Stipend: 15,000 - 20,000/month
Location: Bangalore Work from office
Working days: Monday to Saturday
Weekly Offs: All Sundays off + 2nd and 4th Saturday off
Experience: Fresher / recent graduate
Reports to: Performance Marketing Analyst
About The Role
We run paid acquisition and retention across Google Ads, Meta Ads, Email and WhatsApp. This
The role sits right in the middle of all of it. You will not be fetching coffee or making slides nobody reads. From week one you will own the
daily reporting that the entire performance team makes decisions on, and you will be sending
the campaigns that go out to our actual customers. It is a lot of responsibility for an intern, which
is exactly the point we are hiring someone we intend to keep. We are looking for someone who is early in their career but thinks clearly, is comfortable with numbers, and gets genuinely curious when a tool does something they don't understand yet.
We will teach you the marketing. We cannot teach you curiosity or ownership.
What You'll Do
- Reporting across all performance channels (your daily anchor)
- Pull daily, weekly and monthly performance data from Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and other paid channels
- Maintain and update reporting sheets and dashboards spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, leads, CPL and conversion metrics
- Break down performance by campaign, location, product/course and channel
- Sanity-check the numbers before they go out. Wrong data is worse than no data, and this is the part of the job we are strictest about
- Flag anomalies a sudden spend spike, a channel that stopped delivering, a number that doesn't add up instead of quietly passing them along
- Email and WhatsApp campaign execution:
- Build, schedule and send email and WhatsApp campaigns for both acquisition and retention
- Work with basic HTML to edit and troubleshoot email templates (fix a broken link, adjust a button, fix an image that isn't rendering)
- Manage audience lists, segments and suppression lists
- Run test sends across devices and email clients before every deployment
- Track and report delivery, open, click and unsubscribe metrics; help improve them over time
What We're Looking For (must-haves)
- Working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets comfortable with formulas, filters, sorting, pivot tables, and lookups (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP). You should be able to take a raw data export and turn it into something readable
- Strong logical thinking you can spot when a number looks wrong, and you can work out why rather than just reporting it
- Basic understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem what a campaign, ad group, impression, click, CTR, CPC, conversion and funnel are, and how paid channels fit together
- Comfort with basic HTML or the willingness to learn it in your first two weeks. You don't need to code from scratch, but you should be able to read a template and edit it without breaking it
- Excellent communication skills non-negotiable. Written and verbal. You'll be coordinating with design, sales and leadership, and writing customer-facing copy
- Attention to detail you're sending real messages to real customers and reporting real spend
- Proactive and enthusiastic about learning new tools. When you get stuck, you try, then you ask with a specific question
- Team player you share what you learn, you help when someone's blocked, and you don't sit on problems
Good to have (not mandatory)
- Google Ads / Meta Blueprint / HubSpot certifications (free, and a genuine plus)
- Any hands-on exposure to Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio, or Google Tag Manager
- Experience with an email or WhatsApp platform (WebEngage, CleverTap, SparkPost, Infobip, Gupshup, or similar)
- Any personal project involving paid ads, social media growth, content, or a small business you helped market
- Exposure to no-code automation tools (n8n, Zapier, Make) or basic SQL
- Interest in copywriting
What You'll Walk Away With
In six months you'll have hands-on, verifiable experience in:
- End-to-end performance reporting across paid channels
- Live campaign execution on Google Ads and Meta Ads
- Email and WhatsApp lifecycle marketing
- Marketing automation and practical, day-to-day AI tool usage
- You'll work directly with the performance marketing team, get regular feedback, and have a monthly review where you know exactly where you stand.
Conversion to full-time
This Is a Pre-placement Offer Track, Not An Open-ended Internship. We'll Evaluate At The 3-month Mark And Again At 6 Months On
- Accuracy and timeliness of reporting
- Ownership how much of your work runs without someone chasing you
- Rate of learning and tool adoption
- Communication and collaboration
- Initiative process improvements, automations, ideas you brought unprompted
- Strong performers receive a full-time offer with a revised compensation package.
