Role Description The Interior Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day site execution for interior projects in Mumbai, ensuring that work aligns with design drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors; supervising installation of finishes, fixtures, and services; monitoring progress against schedules; and resolving site-level technical issues. The role also involves conducting site measurements, verifying material quantities, maintaining documentation such as daily reports and checklists, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring regular presence at project locations and close coordination with the design office.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of interior construction techniques, building materials, and finishes relevant to residential and commercial projects.
- Ability to interpret architectural, interior, and MEP drawings, with basic proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD or similar software.
- Experience in site supervision, contractor coordination, and tracking work progress against project timelines.
- Knowledge of quality control practices, safety standards, and local building regulations applicable to interior works.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with design teams, clients, and on-site workforce.
- Detail-oriented approach, problem-solving mindset, and capacity to work independently at site with minimal supervision.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Prior experience in interior fit-out or site engineering roles in Mumbai or similar urban environments is an advantage.
