Role Description The Interior Designer role is a full-time, remote position focused on planning and designing functional, aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for a variety of projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing initial concepts and layouts, creating mood boards and design presentations, and preparing detailed drawings and specifications in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role involves coordinating FF&E selections, ensuring that materials, finishes, and furnishings meet project requirements, budget constraints, and brand standards. The Interior Designer will review architectural plans, contribute to space optimization, and provide clear documentation to support construction, installation, and client approvals. Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design and FF&E skills, including concept development, material and finishes selection, and furnishing coordination.
- Experience in Space Planning, with the ability to optimize layouts for usability, accessibility, and visual coherence.
- Understanding of Architecture principles relevant to interiors, and ability to interpret and collaborate on architectural drawings.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings and documentation to support implementation and contractor coordination.
- Relevant education in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; professional certification or licensing is an advantage.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and strong digital communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainable design principles are beneficial.
