Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru. The Interior Designer will develop concepts and detailed designs for hospitality, residential, and contract interiors, ensuring alignment with project briefs and brand guidelines. Responsibilities include creating space plans, mood boards, and material palettes; preparing construction drawings and documentation; and coordinating FF&E selections with vendors and internal teams. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, architects, contractors, and specialist trades to ensure design intent is maintained through all stages of execution. The Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, support site visits and inspections, and contribute to prototyping and mock-ups to refine designs before final production.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate concepts into functional, aesthetically refined layouts.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Architecture and its integration with interior design solutions for hospitality and residential environments.
- Candidates should possess competency in preparing detailed Construction Drawings and technical documentation suitable for on-site execution and vendor coordination.
- Candidates should possess experience with FF&E selection and specification, including finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment aligned with project budgets and timelines.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Candidates should possess strong visualization, design research, and material selection abilities, with attention to detail and quality.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and clients in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in hospitality or high-end residential projects is an advantage.
