Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing concept designs, detailed layouts and material palettes for commercial, educational, hospitality and retail projects. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with architects and project managers, preparing mood boards and presentations, producing design documentation, and coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained on site. The role involves conducting site visits, supporting space planning decisions, selecting finishes and FF&E, and assisting in project execution from design development through handover. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangalore Urban, requiring close coordination with the internal team and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Atleast 1 year of working experience onsite.
- Strong interior design skills, including concept development and detailing for commercial and institutional spaces.
- Proficiency in space planning and architecture fundamentals to create functional, code-compliant layouts.
- Ability to produce clear construction drawings and documentation for execution and coordination.
- Experience with FF&E selection, including finishes, furniture, fixtures and equipment that align with project standards.
- Comfort with design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or a closely related field.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage timelines.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset and readiness to work on-site, including regular site visits and coordination.
- Prior experience in commercial, office, educational, retail or hospitality projects is an advantage.
