Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients to understand requirements, develop design concepts, and translate ideas into detailed plans and presentations. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E, and preparing construction drawings in line with architectural standards. The role involves working closely with contractors and vendors to ensure accurate execution, conducting site visits to review progress and resolve design issues, and maintaining project timelines and documentation. The Interior Designer will also support project budgeting, contribute to design reviews, and uphold quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, with the ability to develop creative, functional, and aesthetically cohesive concepts.
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Construction Drawings to produce clear layouts, detailed documentation, and build-ready plans.
- Experience with FF&E selection and specification, including finishes, fixtures, furnishings, and material coordination.
- Relevant design software skills (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and proficiency in MS Office for documentation and presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain design intent to clients and project stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Knowledge of building codes, basic MEP coordination, and sustainable design principles is an advantage.
