About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, experienced, and result-oriented Sales Team Manager to join our growing team in Hazra More, Kolkata.
The ideal candidate should have proven experience in managing a sales team, achieving sales targets, generating leads, and building strong client relationships. Candidates with prior experience in the insurance industry will be preferred.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of 5–7+ sales representatives.
- Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our insurance offerings.
- Research customer needs and understand how our solutions can address them.
- Hire, train, coach, and mentor sales team members to improve their performance.
- Set individual and team sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and prepare sales forecasts.
- Generate new leads and ensure effective follow-up and conversion.
- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Continuously develop effective sales strategies and ensure the team follows best practices.
- Identify performance gaps and provide appropriate guidance and support.
- Ensure achievement of company revenue and business objectives.
- Prepare regular sales reports and communicate team performance to management.
✅ Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Sales Team Management in a corporate environment.
- Candidates with experience managing a team of 5–7+ sales professionals are preferred.
- Proven track record across the complete sales process, from lead generation to closing.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop sales professionals.
- Strong target-oriented and problem-solving approach.
- Ability to analyse sales performance and implement strategies for improvement.
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the Insurance industry will be an advantage.
- Experience in motivational speaking, team coaching, or sales training.
- Proven history of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
- Existing knowledge of sales processes, lead generation, and customer relationship management.
