Role Description This full-time, hybrid Insurance Consultant role is based in Ranchi. The Insurance Consultant will engage with clients to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate life insurance and related financial products. Day-to-day responsibilities include explaining policy features, preparing proposals, assisting with applications, and supporting clients throughout the policy lifecycle. The role involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements. The Insurance Consultant will also contribute to business growth by building long-term customer relationships and participating in local marketing or outreach activities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge and understanding of Insurance and Finance concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Consulting, including needs assessment and solution-based advice.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and build trust.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with diverse clients and teams.
- Relevant experience in life insurance, banking, or financial services is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Ranchi, manage time effectively, and meet sales or service targets.
- Familiarity with local language(s) and basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM tools) is an advantage.
