About Asymptode
Asymptode is building a personalized mathematics learning experience for students in the USA and Canada.
About the Role
We are looking for someone who can own the journey from qualified lead to paid enrollment. The role sits between growth and sales:
Lead → qualify → speak with parent → understand requirements → schedule demo → coordinate with mentor → follow up after demo → handle objections → close → collect payment.
Mentors conduct the actual mathematics demos. Your responsibility is to make sure qualified families reach the right demo and that interested families are followed through to a successful enrollment.
Employment Type
Permanent, full-time, work from home.
Location
Remote — India. The candidate must be comfortable working in US/Canada time zones. This is NOT a conventional India-hours sales role.
Compensation
₹18,000–₹20,000 per month fixed, plus 3–5% performance commission on successfully collected FIRST payments from converted customers.
Commission rules:
• Commission is earned only when the customer's payment has actually been collected.
• It is NOT paid merely for generating a lead, booking a demo, or receiving a verbal confirmation.
• The collected first payment is used as the commission base.
• Any refund or cancellation within the applicable initial period is subject to commission adjustment/clawback.
Responsibilities
• Follow up with inbound leads generated through our marketing campaigns.
• Speak with parents in the USA and Canada and understand their child's learning requirements.
• Qualify leads and identify genuine buying intent.
• Schedule and coordinate mentor demos.
• Follow up with parents after demos.
• Explain Asymptode's programs, packages and learning model clearly.
• Handle common parent objections and move qualified prospects toward a decision.
• Close enrollments and ensure payments are successfully collected.
• Maintain accurate lead and sales pipeline information.
• Track follow-ups, conversions and revenue.
• Provide feedback on lead quality and campaign performance.
• Work closely with the founder/operations team and mentors to improve the conversion funnel.
• Assist with basic growth/marketing activities and campaign feedback where required.
Requirements
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong communication and persuasion skills.
• Comfortable speaking with parents in the USA and Canada.
• Comfortable working US/Canada hours.
• Strong follow-up discipline.
• Comfortable discussing pricing and asking for the sale.
• Comfortable working with CRM/lead-management tools.
• Sales, counselling, admissions or EdTech experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Digital marketing/performance marketing exposure is a plus, but this is primarily a SALES + CONVERSION role.
Who Will Do Well
Someone who is commercially minded, communicates confidently, follows up relentlessly without being pushy, understands that a lead is not a sale, and enjoys taking ownership of a number from first conversation through payment.
Working Hours
US/Canada business-hour overlap is required. The exact shift will depend on the target market and campaign schedule, but candidates must be comfortable working evening/night hours in India to align with North American families.
