Your Impact:
This is a unique opportunity to help architect our future technology landscape. Your impact: As our IT Site Administrator, you will serve as the primary IT resource for the India office, responsible for leading IT infrastructure set-up for new offices, delivering end-user support and maintaining local IT operations. You will operate as the go-to IT contact for the site, working independently to resolve issues, support users, and coordinate with global IT teams. This role is ideal for a highly self-sufficient IT professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and is comfortable operating outside of US headquarters business hours.
- Provide on-site and remote helpdesk and desktop support for employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Teams)
- Manage onboarding and offboarding activities, including device provisioning, account setup, and asset tracking
- Own day-to-day IT operations for the site, including support for network connectivity, conference room systems, printers, and office technology
- Perform basic administration across Microsoft 365 services, including user support in Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, and Teams
- Support endpoint management processes, including device enrollment, patching, and compliance using Intune or similar tools
- Manage and troubleshoot office printing environments, including printer hardware, drivers, and print queues
- Support and maintain AV and conference room systems (e.g., Microsoft Teams Rooms), ensuring reliable meeting experiences
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets, including end-user devices, peripherals, and site equipment, supporting lifecycle tracking and audits
- Provide basic administration and troubleshooting for physical security systems, including badge access and video systems, coordinating with vendors as needed
- Coordinate with centralized IT teams for escalations, projects, and infrastructure changes
- Act as the primary point of contact for local IT vendors (internet providers, cabling, hardware support), ensuring timely resolution of issues
- Assist with office setup, expansion, or relocation activities, ensuring IT readiness and continuity
- Maintain accurate documentation of local systems, processes, and inventory
- Deliver high-quality customer service and ensure a positive IT experience for local employees
You'll thrive in the role if:
- Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- You’ve acquired a minimum of 8 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or IT operations roles.
- Strong hands-on experience supporting end-user computing environments (Windows, laptops, peripherals)
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure AD) and endpoint management tools such as Intune.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS troubleshooting).
- Experience using IT service management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, FreshService, or similar).
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience working in global or multi-site environments is preferred.
