We are looking for an experienced Hospital IT & Digital Transformation professional with strong hands-on experience working within a hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead hospital-wide IT and digital transformation initiatives.
- Manage implementation and enhancement of HIS / EMR / Hospital Information Systems.
- Lead IT projects and PMO activities across multiple hospital departments.
- Gather business requirements and coordinate with hospital stakeholders, vendors and technology partners.
- Manage RFPs, vendor evaluation, implementation planning and project governance.
- Drive hospital process re-engineering, workflow optimization and SOP standardization.
- Support implementation/readiness of ERP systems across hospital functions such as Finance, Inventory and Operations.
- Work closely with hospital leadership, clinical and non-clinical departments to drive technology adoption.
- Conduct digital maturity assessments and identify opportunities for process and technology improvement.
- Ensure alignment with NABH, DPDP, data privacy, information security and other healthcare compliance requirements.
- Manage cross-functional technology projects involving departments such as Registration, Billing, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology and other hospital operations.
Ideal Candidate
- Mandatory: Current or previous experience working in a Hospital / Hospital Group.
- 6+ years of overall experience, preferably with significant experience in Hospital IT / Healthcare IT.
- Strong hands-on experience with HIS, EMR or Hospital Management Systems.
- Experience in hospital-wide Digital Transformation / IT Transformation projects.
- Experience managing IT projects, PMO, vendor management and system implementations.
- Understanding of hospital workflows and healthcare operations.
- Exposure to ERP implementation and enterprise applications will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of NABH, DPDP, healthcare data privacy and compliance is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Important: Candidates from general IT companies, IT services, software companies or non-healthcare industries without hospital IT experience will not be considered.
