About the RoleMaiz is looking for a hands-on IT Executive to own the day-to-day management and support of our IT hardware and infrastructure — across our office and retail store network. This role is responsible for keeping all IT assets (laptops, desktops, LAN networks, printers, POS/kiosk terminals, and related peripherals) running smoothly, ensuring minimal downtime for business operations, and maintaining a well-documented, secure IT asset environment.
Key Responsibilities• Manage the complete lifecycle of IT hardware assets — procurement coordination, tagging, tracking, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Provide first- and second-level IT support for office staff and store teams (desktops, laptops, peripherals, and network issues).
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot LAN networks, switches, routers, and Wi-Fi access points across office and store locations.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot store-level hardware including POS systems, kiosks, LAN printers, scanners, and billing machines.
• Maintain an accurate IT asset register / inventory, including warranty status, AMC (annual maintenance contract) tracking, and vendor details.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for repairs, replacements, installations, and AMC renewals.
• Ensure timely resolution of IT tickets/complaints raised by stores and office locations, tracking SLAs and escalating where required.
• Support rollout of new stores/kiosks from an IT infrastructure standpoint (network setup, hardware installation, connectivity testing).
• Implement and monitor basic IT security practices — antivirus, access controls, and safe usage policies on office and store systems.
• Maintain documentation of IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides for common issues.
• Assist in budgeting and cost tracking for IT hardware purchases, repairs, and AMC renewals.
• Train store staff on basic troubleshooting for POS, kiosks, and printers to reduce dependency on IT support for minor issues.
Requirements• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 2–5 years of experience in IT hardware support, asset management, or infrastructure support — retail/multi-location experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, Wi-Fi setup, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience supporting printers, POS systems, kiosks, and general desktop/laptop hardware.
• Familiarity with IT asset management tools/ticketing systems is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a service-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel to store locations as needed.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with vendors, store teams, and management.
What We Offer• The opportunity to build and shape IT infrastructure processes across a growing retail network.
• A collaborative team environment with exposure to both office and retail technology operations.
• Competitive compensation, aligned with experience.
