Role Description The Industrial Accountant at Nexfore Consulting is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations for industrial and consulting projects, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing financial statements. The Industrial Accountant will handle cost accounting for safety, training, audit, and licensing projects, track budgets and expenditures, and support management with financial analysis and reports. The role includes ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, as well as coordinating with project teams to validate financial data, process invoices, and manage receivables and payables. The Industrial Accountant will also assist in preparing documentation for audits, certifications, and CSR reporting, and contribute to improving financial processes and productivity.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in general accounting and industrial cost accounting, including ledger management, financial reporting, and budget tracking.
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit procedures relevant to industrial and consulting environments.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets; ability to analyze financial data and prepare clear, data-driven reports for management.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project, safety, and liaisoning teams on financial documentation and approvals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or consulting sectors is preferred; familiarity with safety, training, or licensing projects is beneficial.
