Role Description The IELTS Trainer is a full-time remote role responsible for delivering high-quality online training to learners preparing for the IELTS exam. Day-to-day tasks include planning and conducting virtual lessons, assessing learners’ language proficiency, and providing targeted feedback on listening, reading, writing, and speaking components. The trainer designs lesson plans aligned with IELTS test formats, develops practice materials, and tracks learner progress to help them achieve their target band scores. The role also involves maintaining organized training records, adapting teaching strategies to diverse learner needs, and collaborating with the team to improve course content and delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong instructional skills in English Teaching and Teaching, with the ability to engage and support learners online.
- Expertise in IELTS exam preparation, including familiarity with test formats, scoring criteria, and effective strategies.
- Experience in Lesson Planning and curriculum design for English language proficiency and exam-focused courses.
- Background in Teaching English as a Foreign Language or related fields, with knowledge of language acquisition principles.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, with clear pronunciation and constructive feedback techniques.
- Experience delivering training in virtual or remote settings and comfort using digital teaching tools and platforms.
- Relevant certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) or a degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in managing schedules and learner progress, and a learner-centered approach.
