Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ernakulam. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with department heads to identify staffing needs, managing HR policies and compliance, and maintaining accurate HR records and documentation. The Human Resources Manager will handle employee relations, support training and development initiatives, and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace culture. The role also involves monitoring labor law compliance, supporting payroll and benefits coordination with relevant teams, and recommending process improvements to strengthen HR operations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Experience in HR policy development, implementation, and compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Skills in conflict resolution, coaching, and supporting employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Proficiency in HRIS or HR management software and comfortable working with spreadsheets and documentation tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professional ethics.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role, preferably in manufacturing or packaging industries.
- Comfort working on-site in Ernakulam and engaging directly with production, engineering, and management teams.
