Role Description This is a full-time, remote Human Resources Intern role. The intern will assist with HR administration, including maintaining employee and volunteer records, supporting recruitment activities, and coordinating onboarding documentation. Day-to-day tasks may include helping draft and update HR policies, assisting with benefits-related queries, and supporting personnel management activities such as scheduling, tracking attendance, and organizing virtual meetings or trainings. The intern will also contribute to HR-related reporting, data entry, and research on best practices in nonprofit human resources. Collaboration with different teams and clear communication will be essential to support a positive and compliant work environment.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with an interest in nonprofit or social sector work.
- Understanding of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, and the ability to assist in policy documentation and basic benefits administration.
- Skills in Personnel Management, including organizing information, supporting coordination, and maintaining accurate HR records.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Proficiency in basic office software and online collaboration tools; comfort working in a remote environment.
- Pursuing or having completed education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in social welfare, community development, or nonprofit initiatives is an added advantage.
