Role Description The Human Resources Intern role at CareerBloc is a full-time remote position focused on supporting HR operations and recruitment activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with candidate sourcing, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and maintaining accurate employee and applicant records. The intern will help draft and update HR documentation, such as policies and onboarding materials, and support the administration of employee benefits and personnel processes under supervision. This role also involves contributing to HR initiatives that enhance employee experience, supporting compliance with HR standards, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth HR workflows. The position is designed to provide hands-on exposure to HR practices in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- Foundational understanding of Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with a strong interest in developing a career in HR.
- Knowledge of HR Policies and basic awareness of employment regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to support Employee Benefits administration and Personnel Management with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks remotely.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and a collaborative mindset for working with diverse teams.
- Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, HRIS familiarity is a plus).
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated professionalism, ethical judgment, and a willingness to learn from feedback in a fast-paced environment.
