Role Description
We're looking for a part-time HR Executive to manage day-to-day HR operations for our growing team. This is a hybrid role based in Surat, with a mix of in-office days at our Althan office and remote work.
You'll handle the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding and induction, HR documentation, employee queries, and exits. You'll also support performance reviews and employee engagement initiatives, and work closely with the founders to build a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment: post openings, screen candidates, and schedule interviews
- Manage onboarding, induction, and exit formalities
- Maintain accurate HR records, documentation, and employee files
- Draft and update HR policies in line with company needs and local regulations
- Resolve employee queries and support conflict resolution
- Assist with performance management and engagement activities
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in HR operations or generalist roles
- Familiarity with HR documentation, recruitment coordination, and HRIS tools (Zoho People or similar is a plus)
- Good understanding of employee relations and basic HR compliance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and trustworthy with confidential information
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are a plus
- Experience in a startup, agency, or digital/media environment is beneficial
