Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Business Partner role based in Mumbai which is going to be US Process and Night Shift. The HR Business Partner will collaborate closely with business leaders and managers to align HR strategies with organizational goals, providing guidance on workforce planning, talent development, and change management. Daily responsibilities include administering HR policies, supporting employee relations, and advising on labor and employment law compliance. The role will oversee performance management processes, coach managers on feedback and development, and support initiatives related to engagement, retention, and organizational culture. The HR Business Partner will also contribute to HR reporting, process improvement, and implementation of HR programs that support the growth of SAR Logistics.
The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas related to the human resources field. They should be comfortable onboarding new candidates and collecting necessary background information as well as assisting employees while at work. This candidate should work closely with management in order to provide training for employees and establish ways to increase employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze employee trends to understand ways to increase employee engagement and retention
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal standards and reduce risks related to daily management of employees
- Assist management in conflict resolution
- Set standards for ethics, values and culture of company
- Onboard new employees and manage immigration documents, taxes and benefits packages
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 - 3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding
- Strong organization, communication and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to onboard new employees and manage HR tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
