SGT University invites applications from qualified and experienced HR professionals for multiple positions within its Human Resources Department. We are hiring for the following positions:
- Manager – HR Operations
- Manager – Recruitment
- Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager – Payroll
- Senior Executive / Executive – Recruitment
1. Manager – HR Operations
Job Summary: The Manager – HR Operations will be responsible for managing and streamlining day-to-day HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, HR documentation, records, policies, and employee services. The role will ensure efficient implementation of HR processes and compliance with organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end HR operations and employee lifecycle activities from joining to separation.
- Oversee onboarding, employee documentation, confirmation, transfers, promotions, deputations, and exits.
- Maintain accurate and updated employee records and HR databases.
- Ensure timely issuance and processing of HR letters, certificates, and employee-related documentation.
- Monitor attendance, leave, employee data, and HR-related transactions.
- Coordinate with departments/HODs for smooth implementation of HR policies and processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to applicable statutory requirements and internal HR policies.
- Prepare HR reports, MIS, dashboards, and analytical reports for management.
- Handle employee queries and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
- Support HR audits, policy implementation, and other strategic HR initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized institution.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience in HR Operations.
- Experience in a large organization, university, educational institution, hospital, corporate, or similar structured environment will be preferred.
2. Manager – Recruitment
Job Summary: The Manager – Recruitment will lead end-to-end talent acquisition activities across academic and non-academic functions. The role will be responsible for developing effective recruitment strategies, managing hiring pipelines, strengthening sourcing channels, and ensuring timely closure of positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for academic and non-academic positions.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies based on manpower requirements.
- Understand job requirements and develop appropriate sourcing and hiring plans.
- Lead sourcing through job portals, professional networks, employee referrals, consultants, social media, and other channels.
- Screen and evaluate candidates based on job specifications and organizational requirements.
- Coordinate interviews, selection processes, reference checks, and offer management.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for critical and recurring positions.
- Manage relationships with recruitment consultants, job portals, and external hiring partners.
- Track recruitment metrics including time-to-hire, source effectiveness, vacancies, and offer-to-joining ratios.
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Prepare recruitment MIS and provide regular hiring updates to management.
- Support employer branding and recruitment-related initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Graduation in any discipline.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of relevant recruitment/talent acquisition experience.
- Experience managing recruitment for multiple functions or large-scale organizations is preferred.
3. Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager – Payroll
Job Summary: The Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager – Payroll will be responsible for managing and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, employee salary-related transactions, statutory compliance, payroll records, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
- Verify attendance, leave, deductions, reimbursements, incentives, and other payroll inputs.
- Process new joiner, exit, salary revision, promotion, and other employee-related payroll changes.
- Ensure accurate calculation of statutory deductions and payroll components.
- Coordinate with Finance and other departments for payroll processing and reconciliation.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality of employee compensation information.
- Handle employee queries related to salary, deductions, tax, reimbursements, and payroll-related matters.
- Support payroll-related statutory compliance, including PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, and other applicable requirements.
- Assist in preparation of payroll MIS and management reports.
- Conduct payroll reconciliation and identify discrepancies before final processing.
- Support annual activities such as Form 16, tax declarations, payroll audits, and statutory reporting.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
Required Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in HR, Finance, or equivalent qualification.
- Graduation in Commerce, Finance, HR, or a related discipline preferred.
Required Experience
- 8+ years of relevant payroll experience.
- Hands-on experience in processing payroll for a medium/large employee base is preferred.
4. Senior Executive / Executive – Recruitment
Job Summary: The Senior Executive / Executive – Recruitment will support and manage day-to-day recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, follow-ups, documentation, and recruitment MIS for academic and non-academic positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end recruitment activities for assigned positions.
- Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, referrals, databases, consultants, and other channels.
- Screen CVs and shortlist candidates based on defined job requirements.
- Conduct initial candidate interactions and coordinate interview schedules.
- Coordinate with hiring managers and departments regarding interview feedback and selection.
- Maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers.
- Follow up with selected candidates regarding documentation, offers, and joining formalities.
- Maintain recruitment MIS and provide regular status updates.
- Ensure timely closure of assigned vacancies.
- Support recruitment drives, walk-in interviews, job fairs, and campus hiring initiatives.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist in other HR activities and recruitment-related projects as required.
Required Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- Graduation in any discipline.
Required Experience
- 2 to 5 years of relevant recruitment/talent acquisition experience.
- Freshers with strong communication and relevant internship/project experience may be considered for Executive-level positions.
